The value of anything they purchase should be added to the owners funds the next time you play with the owner. The only way this is possible is if you visit the lot with a different played household as customers. ![]() Unfortunately you cannot earn an income while away from your retail Lot. The only one of these I can answer is your last one. It seems that unlike in the Sims 2, there's no way to have your business open and sell stuff without you there? Does building that relationship do anything to improve how well they work? I have no relationship with my employees, they're all just strangers I hired based on their resume. Is there a way I can keep my employees working for longer hours before they go home? My workers keep slacking off, or getting the tasks I assigned to them 'unassigned' somehow overtime. What is the best strategy for a retail business to maximize profit? Should I be selling stuff on the cheaper side to earn the business perks, and then raise prices later when those perks make it easier to sell at a higher price? So I've been playing around with a retail business, and I have a few questions:
